NDCC Yearbook 2025 - Flipbook - Page 52
They have had an amazing trip and I am sure they would like to thank their families, friends, and
relatives, NDDC, North Devon Junior League and Mark Ansell, for their contributions as well as
the members of the Club and the local community who supported the Tarka Ladies brilliant
Bingo night to raise funds to enable these talented youngsters to make the most of this amazing
opportunity.
I am certainly extremely proud of every player who has contributed to the success of NDCC Tarka
Ladies this season. Beaten only by Exeter who are lucky enough to have sufficient high calibre
players to be able to field two teams in the league! We have finished runners-up in the First
Division of the DWCL 2024. We were equal 2nd with Cornwood going into the last match. With
some masterful match management, we finished 3 points ahead of third placed Cornwood, 22
points ahead of fourth placed Paignton and 50 points ahead of Hatherleigh.
Played 12, won 7, drawn 1, lost 4. An amazing achievement.
Thank you all.
